Summary
Commenting on Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, William Barclay wrote that “this is a passage we must approach upon our knees.” Indeed, sometimes we hurry past these verses so we can read about the cross. Yet three of the four Gospels dwell on the Garden precisely because there is so much here for us to learn. In this sermon, we focus on four lessons about prayer that we learn from Jesus’ time in the Gethsemane.
