Many faithful Christians struggle in their prayer lives, and one of the reasons we struggle is that we are not quite sure what to pray. We know all about the obvious prayers (the “give us this day our daily bread” variety) and the vague prayers (the “God bless so-and-so” requests). But after a while, we find ourselves wondering if there’s more to pray. That’s where Ephesians 1:15-23 is such a big help. In this passage, we focus on the how, what, and why of a spiritually substantial prayer life.
