Escaping the Grip of Guilt (Matthew 26:69-27:5)

Summary

What should we do when it feels like we are being crushed in the grip of guilt for some sin that we’ve committed? What is the godly, Biblical way to deal with those feelings? That’s the question we work through in this sermon. Simon Peter and Judas Iscariot both sinned terribly against Jesus in the final hours of His earthly life. When they realized what they had done, both men were wracked with guilt over what they had done. And yet only one of them found forgiveness and restoration.
