Job Opportunities

We are prayerfully searching for an Associate Pastor of Student & Worship Discipleship.

We serve Atlantic, a town of about 7,000 people in beautiful southwest Iowa. Agriculture is the primary industry in our area, though Atlantic also boasts an active school district, an award-winning medical center, a picturesque downtown, a thriving commercial area, and a variety of light industrial businesses. Omaha, Nebraska (an hour to the west) and Des Moines, Iowa (about an hour to the east) are both within commuting distance, and a number of people in our community commute to those cities for work.

The Atlantic Evangelical Free Church belongs to the Central District of the Evangelical Free Church of America. We have been serving Atlantic since the mid-1980s and have an active witness for Christ in our community. We are an inter-generational church with a contemporary worship style and an active student ministry. Our core values are God’s Word, worship, prayer, and putting our faith in action. Our mission is to connect real people with the Real God by engaging our communities with the Hope and Love of Christ.
