AWANA Clubs (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed)

AWANA has concluded for the year.  See you in September!

AWANA is our local mission ministry not only to the children in this church but to all children in the community. AWANA runs from late September through April each year and is for three year olds thru 6th Grade. The clubbers have the opportunity to earn AWANA Dollars throughout the year by completing their AWANA books by learning memory verses and doing projects at home. There are special theme nights throughout the year: Awana Grand Prix, a skating Party and the very popular AWANA Store, where the clubbers can spend their Awana dollars. Dues are $13 for the first child, $10 for each additional child in the household. AWANA is each Wed. evening from 6:00 till 7:30 at the church. Helpers are always needed and the training is supplied. See you there!!

Sunday School

During our summer months, we will again offer a multi-age Sunday School for PreK-5th grade children using a unit from the Gospel Project. This class will start Sunday June 2nd at our normal Sunday School time (9:15 AM) and will meet in the classroom in our upstairs hallway. A Kingdom Divided: Despite all God had done for Israel, God’s people continued to rebel against Him. They demanded a king, going against God’s plan and ignoring His warnings about how a king would rule them. God provided Israel’s first king, Saul, but because of Saul’s disobedience, God rejected him and chose David to be king. David’s son Solomon ruled Israel with great wisdom, yet his sin led to the nation of Israel being divided into two kingdoms. Solomon reminds us of our need for Jesus—the sinless, truly wise King.

Parents – While your child is in Sunday School, please join us for one of our Sunday morning Adult classes

Nursery and Li’l Praisers

Children are always welcome at our worship service.  We would like to encourage a family setting for worship, but we understand that there may be times when this cannot happen.  If children become restless and disrupt the worship of parents or others, we offer both Nursery for infants from 0 to 36 months and Li’l Praisers Children’s Church during worship for ages 3 to 6 years of age.  During our worship service, the high school room, located on the west side of the main auditorium, is available to nursing mothers who desire more privacy with their children.  The service can be viewed on video screens in both the nursery and high school rooms.
