Well-meaning people sometimes talk about prayer almost as if it is a form of therapy. “You’ll feel better If you pray.” “I pray because it makes me feel peaceful.” “Prayer is God’s way of making us slow down.” Many times those things are true. But in the Bible, prayer is much more than a therapeutic technique. In the Bible, prayer is war! In Daniel 10, God gives us a peek at some of the unseen realities of prayer, and in the process He reveals that our prayers are far more powerful than we realize.
