Whitewater Gospel Mission Trip 2009

This year's "youth" mission trip has turned into something different, and we need your help!!

There are three groups going out to the WGM.  A construction crew, consisting of 9 men and 3 women, will be leaving on June 8th to begin work on at 24' x 70' open pole building for shelter and fellowship functions.   Three additional women are leaving on June 9th to help clean and set up the mission site for the VBS/Sport camp.  Then on June 12th the remaining team, 25 in all, leave Atlantic for the mission to present a VBS and Sports camp for 3 year olds through high school. 

As you can tell, there are quite a few from our body who are willing to give of their time, money and talents to make this year's event happen!

We would like for you to help.  On the back of this   insert is a list of all the participants. Please pray for them, especially that God would open wide the doors for each activity... beginning now as we prepare to go.  Also, we are asking for your financial help.  This is a big project, with a fairly large construction tab; approximately $10,000.  Our youth have been raising money over the past three years to help pay for their expenses associated with the VBS/Sport camp. And all of the members of the construction and cleaning crew are paying for their expenses completely out of pocket.  So if you can give sacrificially to help cover some of the building expenses, please do.  Make your check payable to EFree and give it or mail it to  Pastor Al at the church.
