Ambassadors
Ambassadors are our Jr. High youth group. Our normal meetings begin in September and run to May. We meet at the church on Sunday evenings from 5:00 till 6:45 and begin with a short game time. Jr. High is a great time to begin to firm up those great theological beliefs like Who is God, what He is really like and how He relates to me. It is also a great place to talk about some of the tough Jr. High problems and give the kids a "safe place" to be just who they are (at least for that week!) and be accepted as part of the body of Christ.
Ambassadors have a few extra activities also. We usually kick-off the year with our own version of a drive-inn theater night and enjoy a weekend of winter fun and Bible study at Hidden Acres for Winter Blast in early February. Mostly we love to watch Jr. Highers grow, not only physically but especially spiritually.
