Sunday School: Pre-K through High School

Sunday school is offered throughout the year. At the present time we are using the Children Desiring God series in Pre-K through 6th grade. This series promotes a fuller understanding of who God is and encourages our children to grow in their faith and hope in God. Junior High grades complete the Bible Instruction Course, (BIC), over a period of two years.  Year one contains an OT/NT survey and the second year consists of a doctrinal study of church life and beliefs. Sunday school is also offered for our high school students. This class is taught by youth leaders who desire to cover current topics within the Biblical standard.

 Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF)

Small groups, friendly people, individuals looking for ways to grow in their spiritual lives - this describes our Sunday morning ABF ministry.  Our focus on the study of God's Word and practical application of it to our everyday lives provides encouragement and direction for all those involved.  ABFs meet at 9:15 a.m.  Come find the one that's right for you!

Autumn ABF Topics include:

Jacob and Egypt: The Sovereignty of God: This class will be led by Ron Russell.  A patriarch, God-wrestler, deciever and himself decieved, Jacob's life story consumes nearly half of Genesis.  Jacob's "dysfunctional" clan illustrated God's providence, judgement, and mercy.  This class will use a study guide by John MacArthur, which will be needed by participants and can be purchased at the first class.  Classroom: NW corner of Fellowship Hall.

Men's Fraternity: Part 2 - Winning at Work and Home: Clayton Bretey will facilitate this men-only video class featuring Pastor Robert Lewis.  Participants will learn more about God's plan in two central areas of a man's life: his career and his family.  Tools will be shared to help men build (or rebuild) their confidence, vision and strategies for relationships both at home and at work.  All men are encouraged to attend this class, even if they have not previously participated in Part 1 of this series.  A study guide will be needed by participants and will be available to purchase at the ABF.  Classroom:  Main Auditorium.

(New Life in Christ:  Minerva Seehusen will again lead this study for all Spanish speaking members of our body.  This course covers the "basic steps" of a life in Christ. A study guide will be supplied for all attendees.  Classroom:  Pastor Al's office, so space is limited.)
